Description

A self-adhesive, aluminium-backed Butyl sealing tape which forms a waterproof seal on almost any surface. It keeps water in or out of almost anything.

– Uses / Applications
• Ideal for sealing and repairing against water penetration and draughts
• Can be used to seal metal and plastic pipes, hose-pipes, roofs, gutters, swimming pools, galvanized buckets, baths, and watering cans, tents, tarpaulins, gum boots, boats and vehicles, caravans, radiator pipes, sheds and kennels
• It is also used for flashings to parapet wall, chimneys and pipe-vents, sealing cracks, roofing sheets and screws
• Adheres well to soft and hard PVC, coated and uncoated wood, some hard plastics, polyacrylates, polycarbonates, ABS, expanded polystyrene, plaster, cork, stone, leather, concrete, glass, metals like galvanised steel, stainless steel, mild steel, aluminium, brass, copper, ceramics, porcelain, soft and hard vinyl, soft and rigid rubber, fibreglass, brickwork, etc.

– Other Information
• Not to be used for sealing of high-pressure applications
• Will not adhere strongly to some plastics e.g. polyethylene or polypropylene
